Speaks

Portuguese is my mother tongue. I can understand and speak perfectly. I have been in touch with English all my life either in school, foreign friends or video gaming. I can understand and speak it pretty fine. Spanish, I learned in my last intern, I can understand pretty much everything, regarding the speaking, I can speak understandable Spanish. In a scale of 1 to 10 I can speak 7.

About me

I was born in a medium size village in Portugal, I always been an adventurous kid, willing to bond and connect with other persons. Since I was a kid I was always searching for something that I could help. During my youth I studied, and some summers I used to work on little things. Dispite I was born an only child, I was born in a big farmer family with a lot of members, I remember all summers I love going to my grandfathers terrains, either play with my cousins or help my family in the farming thing.
Last year, after finishing my high school, I had this need to grow up as a persone and also leave my parents wings for a while, so I gathered some money and candidate myself to an aboard internship. This intership allowed me to become a more grown up person in pretty much every aspect, and also opened my mind to a lot of other things, such as travel, getting to know other peoples other cultures and off course help others.
I am going to return to Portugal, to complete my studies, but during this I also want to experience everything that is associate to the volunteer experience.

Preferred location

I always wanted to help and experience volunteer, I have the ambition to do this in a near by future, maybe one year or less. My two preferred continents to do my volunteer is both Africa and Asia. But I am also open to other options.

Skills

I am currently studying sales, but since this is not something that I can use a lot in this experience, I can do the activities I previously choose.
I have good language skills, I am not very used to do construction, but I am a quick learner so, it should not be a problem, regarding the animal care, I am used to have animals, boating, its the same as construction. I have a lot of cousins, all my life I have been in touch with children.
I can clean, and cook, and I can also teach some things or two, despite the lack of experience on teaching.
And last but not least, I did an Intership aboard, and on this Intership I work in a travel agency, so I am really use to the tourism situation.

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
