About me

I am a 23 year old girl from Poland with a huge desire to travel and explore new cultures and places! I moved out of my country by myself when I was 18 and started my journey in the United States where I was an au pair, then moved to England to study, then Germany for internships, and now again England to finish my bachelor's degree in International Business Management and German. Besides traveling, I enjoy long walks, reading, hiking, surfing, acro yoga and pole dance! PS. I recently cut my hair short so most pictures show the old me

Preferred location

I would like to visit and volunteer in either South Africa or Namibia from mid December 2023 to mid January 2024. South Africa ideally Cape Town as I like to surf and Namibia ideally a place where I could practice my German.

Skills

Childcare - I was an au pair in the USA where I was looking after kids aged 6 months to 13 years old
Teaching - I worked as a teacher assistant at language summer camps in Poland
Language practice - I speak Polish (native), English (C2) and German (C1)
Hostel support - I have experience working in restaurants, bars and hotels including kitchen support, serving food/drinks and cleaning
Eco projects - I led a student society promoting vegetarian and vegan diet, and interned at an energy company researching on renewable energy sources

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am vegetarian but occasionally eat fish and seafood, I am not too picky.
