I qualified with an HND in hotel management in my early 20’s, and after several years went travelling to Israel, New Zealand, and Australia.
During my year in Israel I learnt how to milk a large herd of Holstein/Friesians and spent a year in Australia as a deck hand on a 1922 Barquentine, teaching under privileged kids to sail. When I returned to England I joined my uncle in the building trade an have 22 years experience of construction and maintenance. I have always been involved in land management and agriculture, however.

I am looking for a long term volunteering role, preferably physical within the U.K. I am seeking a long term arrangement in return for board and lodging. Perhaps 12 months.
I am a general builder by trade, specialising in maintenance and renovations. I have also grown up in a farming community, ( my father was a farm vet.) and have periodically returned to agriculture and land management throughout my life. This means that I can safely use a chainsaw and milk a herd of cattle.
I am also a qualified Yachtmaster (Coastal) and enjoy broadening my horizons, eager to learn and reliable, hard working, fit, strong, and healthy.
I have many skills to offer and look forward to giving something back in return for board and lodging.
I am a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
