About me

Hi, my name is Daniel Pardo and I am a seventeen years old spanish guy. I´m looking forward to find nice people and good volunteering oportunities!!
I am supossed to begin university next year but actually that are not my plans at all. I know this is a common decision in other countries, but here in Spain is a big thrill. My reasons are that I don´t want to enter the university-then work system so soon, without having a clear idea on what I want to do. That´s why I have decided to look for a volunteering program, and try to organise an afordable trip which may bring me some answers and more hapiness.
Now I´m gonna tell you a little bit more about myself. If you are not interested you can skip this parragraph. My main interest as a child was animals. I used to own NATGeo encyclopedias colecctions about animals and learn as much as I could about them. For that reason I am perfectly suitable for volunteerings in contact with animals. My inspiration came from Gerald Durell books (absolutely recomendable), the founder of Jersey Zoo; and like him, my dream was to run my own zoo. Now I have different opinions about zoos: I think they are sometimes necesary but also unfair.
Also, I have taken other interests more recently. For example, I am a writer, I have a blog (tarroaustraliano.blogspot.com) and I have already written a book which is called ``La caja de Pandora´´(it is all in spanish). I also play guitar. Although I´m still a beginner I could give some classes on that way.
As a volunteer I don´t care to work hard, do manual job or whatever. The only think I ask in exchange is food and acommodation, cause I don´t have many economic resources. The perfect dates for me to go volunteering is from September 2020 to July 2021, but I am open to receive other oferts.
Particularities you have to know is that I am vegetarian. If you contact me, let me know if you can provide me this diet.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I can eat eggs or cheese, but never the body of the animal.
