Sarah (35) & Julien

About me

Hello!
We are Sarah and Julien, on an around Eurasia trip, following the ancient Silk Road, aiming Japan and going back to Europe with the Transsiberian!
We are looking for opportunities to help in all kind of jobs in farming. We want to meet people, share their daily life, discover the culture and the land. We are not interested to work in accommodations businesses (except in exchange of a wage).
Sarah is passionate about birds, trees, plants and flora and fauna in general. She is a former architect and urbanist so she has a good perception of space and she can help you design your new house
Julien loves everything related to cooking and food, crafting, permaculture and low-tech! He is a former accountant and grocer, so he is not afraid of numbers and of lifting weight
We are vegetarians for the both of us and we try to take the time to meditate and do yoga as much as we can. Back in our sedentary life, Julien is a cycling maniac and it was his main commuting way. We are aiming toward zero waste and do all our in-house cleaning and body care products.
We are currently in Armenia, next up is Iran in July and the East afterwards! We are travelling by hitchhiking, so our movements are not an exact science!

Preferred location

We are interesting to have an experience as volunteer in Uzbekistan or Kyrgyzstan (august/September).

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have allergies.

We are vegetarians but we eat eggs, cheese and honey (not vegan). We have each a driver licence to drive a car. Julien is allergic with pollen during spring time.
