I live in Mexico for 6 months of the year so am about 80% fluent in Spanish, but I still have a hard time understanding it quite often, but I manage to communicate most of the time.

About me

I am very easygoing and flexible. My experience in the Peace Corps required that However, I did not stay long because of a relationship I got in that took preference. I mentioned the work I've done, I have a BS degree in Psychology and about 30 credits more in social work. I have traveled extensively to about 18 countries. I have also been a financial planner, and worked in the title ins. field, and did loan origination. I like to experience new things and I welcome change. I love doing healing work and am devoted to spirituality and health.

Skills

I have spent some time in the Peace Corps in Ecuador and Belize, where I learned a variety of skills to teach others. I volunteer with an orphanage teaching English once a week in Mexico, I also teach reiki classes and some tapping/EFT. I share documentaries about health and raising our consciousness. I have had dogs and horses most of my life, but because of all the travel I do, I have no animals right now. I have done caregiving for elderly, my degree is in psychology and I have worked with mentally ill, as well as being a parent aide for a child abuse prevention program teaching parenting skills. I have also taught English in Thailand in a remote fishing village for 6 weeks. I have helped build several Habitat for Humanity houses recently in Nicaragua and in Hawaii, and did a mission in Guatemala. I am a 70 year old single woman in good physical shape.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I try to limit the meat I eat, and eat only organic when available. I have food sensitivities to eggs, wheat, oats and corn, but I can usually work around that and can eat on occasion.
