I like to play chess and basketball. I finished the psychological counseling and guidance department in June 2018. After I finish my school, I want to work with children, young people, old people or people with disabilities. I want to volunteer and help people. Why I want to do volunteered? Firstly I want to all people to have equal opportunity. İn this from care I see myself as a human rights advocate. I think human rights are fundamental and universal value. For this reason I want to fight for this purpose. It makes me happy to work for the good of people. Secondly I wonder different education and rehabilitation system, different human relationships, different helping system. When I do volunteer, I have different perspective, discover new information, culture and experience. I want to recognize different cultures, to meet different people and and working with them
What have I done before? I volunteered 3 years for a education foundation that was interested in disadvantaged and Syrian children. The children were between 9 and 15 years old. Children were migrants and poor. Childrens families educational level of is low. I made individual therapy and group guidance for children at this foundation. Also I did a seminar for child raising and conflict solution for families. I helped children with their homework and taught them mathematics. I helped Syrian children for teach Turkish and adaptation Turkish schools. Volunteering and helping children made me happy. Also when I was in third grade I interned at a school. I have career guidance and career counseling for ten children aged 14 years, 11 weeks.. except this. I applied 30 student individual recognition techniques ( sociometry, problem screening list, reasons for failure). And I have seen some of them as individual. When I was in at the fourth grad (last semester) again I interned at a school. Eight children were given anger management, empathy, conflict resolution, etc. for ten weeks. I practiced psychoeducation on topics. These children were 9 years old. Also last semester I treated a depressive patient. I did psychotherapy for 12 weeks. I received supervision support in this process. I applied cognitive behavioral therapy.Three month I do an internship at a private training center for disabled people. Who do I work with? Autism, Down syndrome, physical disability, low and moderate intelligence, blind, hearing impaired people. Also I'm a practitioner Erasmus + project in Turkey/İzmir. This is a KA3 support project and name is Use of effective, healthy technology. I will deal with 20 children for 5 days in May, I will do workshops. I will give information about technology dependence to children. we gave information about the effective and healthy use of technology. Finally I would like to open my own consulting center in the future and do individual and group therapy with children.
