About me

I'm Alejandra I'm sixteen years old and I live in Mexico City. I have a beautiful family they're my everything, my motivation and what makes me be who I am. I studied Elementary School at Cumbres Institute, where they teach me how to be an outstanding and independent woman, they also teach me to help and give love to others. Now I'm in the second semester of High School at Tecnologico of Monterrey and it has definitely been a challenge, but I'm happy to say that I enjoy every second of it. Since I was little I've always been a talented girl, I've been dancing since I was two, and it has become a part of me. Dance has teach me to be discipline, responsible and to always go after my dreams and fight for what I want. I really want to make a change in the world and I think that by helping others and making good actions we can start to improve little by little. One of my favorite things to do is community service. I use to go to a nursing home, orphanages and hospitals. Every Spring Break I go to poor communities to help people. I can't explain the amazing feeling I have after helping and making someone happy, I discovered it was something I enjoyed to do and now I try to do it every day of my life. Participating in charity events has helped me to be the person I'm today, because when I help others, I'm happy with myself and by the pass of the years I've learned that self-love is the most important thing to be successful, a great leader and a role model. I also enjoy doing summer camps for children. I've been doing them over the past 3 years, In first I started making them to earn money, but then it became a hobby. I love to be around kids, play with them, put them different activities and teach them how to dance, sing or act.I want to volunteer this summer especially because I want to help and give love to others. but I also love to travel and make new friends. Volunteering abroad will give me the chance to learn how other cultures live and I can take these practices home when I return at the end of the summer. I can also learn new skills, get away from my home town, make amazing memories, learn about issues going on in the world, see things more open-minded perspective, take lots of photos and make a difference in a child's life.
