About me

My name is Christian, and I am originally from New York City. I have an insatiable desire to travel around and see the world, and I enjoy writing; I satisfy these cravings by running a travel website, Dauntless Jaunter (https://djaunter.com/) where I write about various destinations and their cultures, people, cuisine, history, traditions, holidays, and more.

Preferred location

I am currently living in Warsaw, Poland, while I study the Polish language and until my girlfriend completes her university here. When I'm not studying, I travel around to new places to experience the culture and write about it for my travel website, Dauntless Jaunter (https://djaunter.com/).

Skills

I am a native English and Indonesian speaker (born in New York City with an Indonesian mother), and I have a conversational level of Spanish. I currently study Polish at a school in Warsaw.
I have a travel website, and so I've built up a decent knowledge of basic things, such as SEO, HTML, CSS, etc. Common home computer and network problems are also areas where I may be able to help.
Other than that, I've had some vocational experience that may allow me to be helpful in other areas: I was the manager of a Starbucks cafe in New York City and an assistant manager at a Target store in the Silicon Valley area of California, among several others.

I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I was a smoker, but I've given it up in favor of the electronic cigarette; however, I still will follow all rules as if it were the regular variety. I do not have a driver's license here in Europe, but I am looking to obtain one in Poland soon. I've no allergies.
