My introduction and mission
My name is João I’m 32 years old and was born is Lisbon, Portugal. I love to travel. I was in an exchange program in my graduation in Florianopolis. I would like to learn more about the culture, meet knew people and do some volunteer work in a friendly and cozy environment.
About myself
I’m a friendly and outgoing person who likes to have fun and meet new people from different walks of life. I like to live as a local and contribute to the community because it’s the best way to really get to know the places I’m visiting.
Personal interests
I love the beach, doing sports, partying, having fun, practicing Yoga, reading, walking, interacting and talking to knew people with different experiences than mine

Skills

My skills and work ethic
I have a graduation in Economics and a post-graduation in Finance. In the last few years I worked in financial markets. While studying I also worked in a program that taught Portuguese for immigrants that came to Lisbon, in a government project called Português Para Todos. Before my graduation I always worked in the summers in my grandfather’s farm in the production of wine, taking care of the animals and scooping all sorts of vegetables and fruits which makes very comfortable with gardening and outdoor work. I have a very good knowledge of English and I know some basic spanish. I am a hard worker, very motivated, with a good work ethic and I feel very comfortable dealing with people.
