Speaks
I speak two languages, English and Afrikaans (one of the official 9 languages in South Africa). The Afrikaans language is similar to Dutch so Afrikaans speaking individuals can often understand what is being said in Dutch if spoken slowly.

A bit about me: I will be completing my masters degree in research psychology at the end of 2016. I love animals (especially birds and farm animals), dancing and charity work.
I am from South Africa, and would like to travel and find work abroad during 2017. I intend to look for employment opportunities while I am hosted, experience a new culture and have loads of fun.
My field of study is psychology, with a focus on research. I am aware that there are not a lot of hosting opportunities with this focus. I have worked as a part time waiter and bartender early in my studies. I enjoy working with animals. I have a lot of child care experience (au pair, special needs care/ school assistance, tutoring etc), and I have received first aid training focused on children. I do not mind doing other tasks, I am open to new experiences in that regard.
I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
I do not mind adopting a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle
