Erase the image you have of hot, summer days, sangria in hand and flamenco blaring on a boombox. This side of Spain is not that.
Replace it with coffee on a porch, morning mist and the milder side of Miguel Llobet transporting you into cogitation and reflection. Scents of lavender and eucalyptus melding to complete your mental massage, and wafts of homemade bread inviting you in for breakfast.
Nestled between pine trees and gorse this cosy cottage overlooks a large garden in need of loving hands and someone with an eye for detail. A larger stone house to its north welcomes those passionate about refurbishing and eager for the challenge of hammering out their creativity and transforming a traditional construction into a beautiful home.

I am a journalist and writer by profession but an English tutor by trade. The house that I am building/refurbishing has lots of work to be done to it and has become a bit overwhelming to manage.
The outer shell is in place and most of the fixtures inside are basically complete. There are, however, the finishing touches that need doing ... tiles in the kitchen to be placed, the beams, staircase and walls need painting ... designing the garden (which is quite large) ... digging holes for plant placement ... the building of a pond ... a wood shed that needs constructing (to store the wood for winter) and wood to be cut, dried and stored for the up-coming winter.
The room is very basic and located in one of the houses on the property. This house is under construction, but is completely secure, clean and warm. The available room, though sparsely decorated has a newly built bathroom equipped with a warm shower. All your meals will be had in the cottage next door.
You will be given breakfast, lunch and dinner on property (including weekends). Your meals off property will be your own responsibility and cost.
