We need 3 volunteers
We are a group of 2 partners running this project in the village of Huanchaco, in northern Peru. This little beach town has a very relaxed and quiet life. We have tourists and fun activities on the beach all the year, like world surf championships, and a lot of national contests also.
Our place is a beautiful big house with an amazing beach view.
If you are interested in surfing or just love the beach you will love the view that’s just on the surf point to check the best waves or just enjoy one of the world’s best sunsets.
Our concept: sell 'natural Peruvian herbal drinks' (with healthy properties) mix with Pisco (the traditional drink of Southern Peru) or Rum (from the Northern parts of Peru).
At mornings and noons we have also a High Performance Surf School. Our partner in this project is one of the best surf coachs in the all the region with a lot of international championships.
Our goal is to be different and offer our customers a nice atmosphere where they can hang out during the day and enjoy the surf lessons; or have fun at night with diferent activities (like our famous Salsa Thursdays!).
We also have a nice stage to host on saturdays Live Music Nights with local and foreign musicians or DJs.
As a volunteer of the surf house you will:
* Work a maximum of 25 hours each week
* Watering our little garden.
* Cleaning the house (customer and common areas).
* Spread flyers.
* Buy fruit at the village market.
* Artistic colaborations (paints, chalkboards, events decoration, etc.)
* In our big nights (only 2 each week: Salsa Thursdays and Latin Saturday) we need help with the beer station and washing glasses.
We need at less 3 weeks of work, but we are flexible, could be longer.

We are 2 business partners, really good friends (like family) from Lima, we use to work in manager positions for a large international informatic and marketing firm.
We decided renounce to our regular jobs, and start this new adventure in the city who use to be our vacation spot. Huanchaco catched us and now we are so happy with our new business and life style.
We are surfers also and for us is a dream own this beach house.
We have now 3 years in the village and with plans to continue growing and meeting more people, histories, and colaborating to the travel experience of our volunteers!
The area for the customers is on the first floor. On the second floor we are offering shared rooms for the volunteers.
We can host 2, 3 or even 4 people.
WiFi, hot water, awesome beach view... And all the contacts and help for complete the travel experience of our volunteers and their happiness in any ambit... sports, friendly community, culture, music, art, or whatever.
We (my business partner and me) don't provide meals because we don't know how to cook. We offer a big full equiped kitchen (kitchen oven, microwave, toaster, coffe machine, blenders, etc) and the village market is near and is really cheap (fruits, vegetables, meat, really fresh fish, etc.)
