About the workproject

We need 6 volunteers

For the past several years we have welcomed volunteers and vistors. From Summer 2017 - Fall 2018 I will not be operating the regular volunteer program. I am seeking to find a couple, organization or group of people that would like to stay and caretake our property (almost 100 acres) in the remote rainforest town of Buena Vista. Perhaps you or your organization would like to offer retreats or have volunteers. I am open to discuss that possibility. I prefer a long term arrangement (at least three months) I request that there are no drugs or alcohol on the property. The location requires hardy people that are willing to live off the grid and it would be best if you have a 4x4, a quad or a horse. We have running water, showers and a gas stove. If you do not have transportation one may need to hike to town which is 1.5 hours from the home. In the past, a neighbor has been available to coordinate transportation of people and supplies for $10 per trip.

The rainforest is a peaceful place and ideal for a retreat type setting. We have a variety of fruit trees, pacific spinish, tumeric, etc. If your interested please check out our website. I will need references phone numbers and email. we can discuss the situation via email or on skype.

Come spend some time in the heart of the rainforest!
