We need 3 volunteers
Family Seeking Helping Hands For Their Coffee Farm.
The family that owns the coffee plantation want to open their doors to travelers that are looking to have a genuine experiences and get to know the process of making coffee, feel and take in all the surrounding nature. Besides helping in the garden (by taking care of plants such as coffee, banana, avocado and orange trees, and many other plants) the family needs help in expanding their house and build more rooms where they can receive the new travelers.
So this is what we have at the moment: a farm where people are needed in helping the harvesting of coffee and the construction of new comfortable rooms where tourists can be received.
How does it work?
As most projects like this one, the family is offering food and accommodation in return for your help; plus small trips in the area guided by one of the family members who you will be working with. Unfortunately, no transport costs can be covered for the moment, therefore the volunteers will have to pay their own means of transport. The good news is that you will be picked up by one of the family members from Cusco and will go with you all the way to the farm. It is a 5,6-hour long journey passing with the bus through mountains and the Abre Malaga pass (4.300 m) and arriving in the beginning parts of the jungle from where you start the road which eventually gets you to the farm.
The accommodation is basic but comfortable. As the family is looking to improve the conditions and to construct new rooms for living, we are looking for people that can bring their knowledge and creativity into this family’s plan. And the food you can expect that is one of the best you will eat since all of it is produced in the area by local farmers; fresh, healthy and nutritious.
You are expected to work from morning till lunch and after you are more than welcomed to join and help more if you can. If not, you can take it easier and enjoy the rest of the day. When you feel like it, you can take a free day and enjoy the hot springs from Santa Teresa (Cocalmayo, 1 hour and 30 min walking) or have a trip in the surrounding jungle nature together with one of the family members. Also in Santa Teresa you have pharmacies, places with internet to get in touch with your families and different shops.
You need to imagine that it can be tough for a family to procure food for other 2-3 people at once, therefore it would be very nice if you could help them with 15 peruvian soles per day (about 4 Euros or 4 US dollars/day) and like this they promise to bring more variety to the food and consistency.
I guess, if you're interested you will have many questions, which please, don't hesitate to ask them. You can contact me at my email address: firstname.lastname@example.org OR whatsapp me +31 620156791.
P.S. I should also mention the fact that you can prepare and drink your freshest coffee that you can ever get!

All the food is grown at the farm and it is all natural. I should also mention the facts that:
1. it is a very delicious food
2. you can prepare the freshest coffee that you can ever get
3. you can have bananas, pineapples, avocados and many other fruits straight from the plant itself.
