About me

I am an ambitious, optimistic, deep thinking guy with a sense of adventure and the drive to learn and experience as much as possible. I am currently working in Logistics training to take over as Transport Manager however I am looking to take time out to experience more of life, help people who need it and learn more about myself and the world around me. I live in Hartlepool alone and have a 5 year old son who stays with me occasionally, so I would ideally be looking at volunteering for 1-3 months at a time with some time back home to visit family and save up funds. I like to try everything at least once and am (luckily) a very quick learner, and have a high level of respect towards other people.

Preferred location

I am looking to spend 1-3 months at a time travelling in and around the UK and Europe (with stops off at home in order to visit family and save up further funds). I have chosen the relevant countries as I should not have any problems getting to and from these areas, however would be open to longer opportunities further afield.

Skills

Previously worked as a chef for 6 years and would be more than happy to use and share my knowledge.
Currently working as a Transport Coordinator (CPC qualified) for the past 3 years so very confident in using computers, solving problems, learning new skills.
Fit & healthy and more than happy to carry out physically demanding work, learn new skills and tasks and help out in any way I can.
I am also looking to learn new languages, experience different cultures, meet new people and experience as much as possible.

Additional info

I am a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

Although I do smoke, if this is not permitted in or around the volunteers property/work area I am more than happy not to.
