About me

This is a photo taken very recently- about 3 weeks ago- when i was walking the Camino in Northern Spain. I love walking and this experience offers so much- beautiful scenery and old churches, as well as encounters with lots of different people from all over the world along the Way. I stayed in lots of albergues... I've often thought how much I would love to work in a youth hostel; I'm in the process of being made redundant so this is something that might now become more than a thought! I like to read and am in a local book group- I enjoy this and have met some lovely people through it; I live in a small village in Scotland (despite the profile information saying England, it isn't accepting Scotland as a country) - despite its small size we're lucky enough in our village to have a community arts centre and I volunteer there, doing bar work, when there are concerts and plays. I play golf ...badly! I love going on holiday. .

Skills

I've worked in a variety of jobs over the years- mainly in social care, with children, but have also worked as a volunteer serving the bar at my local art centre; i'm happy pottering in my garden, weeding and tidying it up; and looking after people, homes and animals are all within my skill range...I like people, and they generally like me too..

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
