About me
I am an American currently studying abroad in Wollongong, NSW, and am hoping to stay a little longer in this amazing country. I am studying Ecology, and hope to one day make a healthier planet for the generations to come. I love everything outside, and can routinely be found reading in a hammock somewhere. I also have a deep passion for animals, and would love to work with any furry friends! In my spare time I love exploring as much as I can, capturing the world in photographs, and meeting new people. I hope to use the time I have in Australia to see more of the country, meet people and share stories, and help out as much as I can.
Preferred location
I am currently studying abroad in New South Wales, Australia until late June, and hope to find somewhere to volunteer so I can stay a little longer in this wonderful country. I have a month that I would love to spend exploring and volunteering. I'm open to anywhere in Australia, or places a (relatively) short plane ride away.
Skills
I am studying biology at uni, but am open to doing anything you are willing to teach me! I love animals (even the dirty work), and have spent a significant amount of time around house pets and horses. I am a very outdoorsy person, know a lot about wilderness sports and activities, and love to teach other people about the great outdoors. I have experience with basic gardening, and can always help out around the house. I am fairly good with technology, and can normally figure out how to solve (relatively simple) computer problems. I have done just enough construction to know how to use common tools (but am by no means an expert). I am also a hobby photographer in my spare time, and love to share my images. I am not afraid of hard work, and love seeing a project come together!

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
