Turkish is my native language. I've started to learn English since I was 6 and also graduated from an former American college, so it's my 'nativish' second language. I also know Spanish but I feel very rusty about it.

About me

This is Gonca from Istanbul and I work as an online editor for an international news agency. I've studied civil engineering in college and also worked in various line of work (like waitress, tutoring, selling vacuum cleaners -don't ask-, helping my father at farm etc).
I was in the swimming team during all my school life and for a while I was also a part of basketball team and played water polo in college. I also like running and cycling but not that passionate about them. It is fair to say that swimming and scuba diving are my favourite activities, I'm kind of addictive to the water.
My family inherited some fields from my grandparents and other then their daily jobs, they also take care of those. So, I'm familiar with the agricultural activities.
I have two cats of my own and a dog at my family house. I love animals and have a good relationship with them.
Since I'm not bounded to an office for working, I wanna travel around the world and don't wanna do it as a tourist. I wanna be a part of different communities and collect stories.

Preferred location

I'm planning to travel through Europe at first because of the transporting fees but I'm open to other opportunities as long as I can afford the ticket (:
