About me

I have always had a strong passion for travel, but have never had the opportunity to do so, and would be immensely grateful for the chance to experience new places. Along with travel, volunteer work and humanitarian efforts is another enormous passion of mine. I've dedicated the past five years of my life to volunteering at multiple different organizations in effort to make even one small change in the life of another human being. I am passionate about art, music, literature and poetry, culture and language. I love people, and am always looking for ways to start new friendships and relationships. I've grown up in a larger family, seven people, which has taught me how to co-exist and get along with lots of different personalities. I currently live in Manitoba, Canada.

Skills

I have extensive child care experience, as I've been babysitting since I was 12, have been a steady volunteer in Sunday school and VBS for the past 6 years, and have four siblings. I've volunteered faithfully for the past few years at many different organizations including The Womans Crisis Pregnancy Center, Samaritans Purse, Winnipeg Harvest, Eastman Raiders Football, Siloam Mission, and the Springfield Food Bank. I've lived on a small hobby farm all my life, and have had the responsibility of caring for our farm animals; cats, dogs, sheep, chicken, goats, rabbits, and pecan ducks. I have experience in garden maintenance, as my family and I have grown all our fruits and vegetables for the past ten years. I also have extensive experience in home care; cleaning, cooking, organizing etc.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

Although I am not a vegetarian, I have tried many raw, fruit and veggie diets, and vegan diets, and would be very open to transitioning to a new diet. My only known allergy is a very minor allergy to cats, and I've learned how to deal with it, having four cats of my own.
