About me

Hi, Im Tod Doyle. I grew up here in Kildare on a farm where my family breed horses. I love where I am from and have a great base of friends and family here. I have always been a keen musician and I make a living from teaching and playing music as well as working with people with disabilities.
I have travelled and worked in many places already from Europe in hostels and bars to Canada and America on construction sites.
I enjoy playing music, socialising, keeping fit, cooking, enjoying life, the outdoors,skiing, working with good people for good people, being part of a team or leading a team.

Preferred location

This summer I would hope to travel through Europe for a month and would love to ind some interesting volunteer opportunities.
Next winter I would like to work in a ski resort in Europe/Argentina/New Zealand/USA
Im passionate about skiing and have skiid in Europe many times and also in Canada and the USA.
From my list of skills and my experience I could work in a number of different roles in a ski resort.
Musician/Barman/Catering/Challet/Event management/Pub crawl leader/tour guide and many other roles.

Down to earth, hard working, outgoing Irish man with excellent communication skills. Equipped with a vast knowledge of different jobs from travelling and general life experience. I grew up on a farm so Im good with my hands/fixing things/thoroughbred industry/agriculture. I also play a lot of music.
I have travelled a lot and have experience working in construction//bar work//restaurants//hostels.
Currently I work as a drummer and also a part time music teacher in my local school. I also work part time work with people with mental disabilities.
If I put my mind to any job 9.5/10 Im at least good at it. NOT AFRAID OF HARD WORK.

Part time music teacher in my local school. Teaching a broad range of instruments from Guitar, bass, drums/percussion and voice.

2014 - present
Work 12 hrs/week with a gentleman with a mental disability as his support worker with the aim of integrating him into his own community and helping him to live a normal life.
Skills - In depth knowledge of SRV (social role valorization) Communication, Dealing with sometimes dangerous situations, local society integration, Keeping people calm in stressful situations, Family analysis, Client analysis
2011 - 2013 (Summers)
Assistant manager of award winning party hostel.
'Grandio party hostel' , Budapest. 120 beds, staff of 8.
Skills - Team management, banking, Payroll, Hostelworld back office, Social media, Event management (pub crawls,boat partys, day trips)
Ensuring guest satisfaction, Keeping ratings at the absolute highest and pushing standards.
(We won a 'hoscar' Hostelworld's best small european party hostel)

Additional info

I am a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

Occasional smoker. Loves cooking, Good at it too!! Laid back, social, easy to work/get on with.
