Speaks

I’m an English fluent speaker on a C1 level. I’ve also started learning German but I’ve learnt just a few basic phrases. Since I would like to primarily volunteer in a Balkan region, I reckon that my native languages (slovak and czech) will help me to connect with locals a lot easier.

About me

From September on I will start my university studies in Prague. Since my field of interest is gonna be sociology and social working, I feel like the best way to warm up myself is through volunteering abroad with an opportunity to improve my social skills in a real life experience rather than theoretically studying about it.

Skills

I am a nature lover who can be helpful in basically all kinds of outdoor and even indoor work. Ever since me and my family moved in our village house, I am used to spend a lot of time working in the garden. I am a huge fan of a simple life and I keep my standarts for living low. Even though I have a little experience with working indoors I am eager to learn new skills everyday. I prefer working with a group of people because there is a bigger chance to start a deep conversations which I am a huge fan of. On the other hand I have just found my way to be alone for a long time as well. I recently completed my country’s longest hiking trail with the length of 760km which was to me admittedly a life-changing experience.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am a flexitarian which means that I am basically trying already to reduce the consumption of meat to a bare minimum.
