About me

Hello!!
My name is Lluc and I'm a 24 year old guy who grew up in Barcelona, Spain. I'm a computer engineer and I've been working in an office for the last two years, so now, I believe it's time for some changes in my life, that's why I decided to come back to workaway, and I'll be willing to take all new challenges that might come.
Currently, I'm travelling Japan, although I don't exactly know the reason, and I'd love to learn some traditional stuff about the country, like cooking and the way of living :D Also, I wish to learn about Building and self-sufficient lifestyles, but that would be just a plus for me!
I grew up in the city and I've been studying+working for my whole life, that's probably the reason why I like to take some breaks from time to time, and take a couple of months for myself, in the mountain, in other countries,...
I'm a really active person and what I like the most is practicing some sports, lately I've been doing lots of treks and climbs around Spain and Europe. Apart from that, I love meeting people from other countries and sharing my culture with them (you can also find me in couchsurfing: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/lpares12). So I'm expecting to meet some awesome people in my next adventure :P

Skills

My only experience outside office and home care has been a sled-dog farm in Germany, where I had to take care of horses and dogs, among other tasks such as maintaining the farm, preparing meet for the dogs, cleaning, snow shoveling,... I'm a fast learner and I have no doubt I'll do fine wherever I end up working.
I have basic cooking skills and can cook some nutritious meals. We don't use so many spices nor sauces in Spain, so my food might be "flavorless" for people from other countries like India x) But what I can assure you is that it's totally nutritious and healthy :D
Currently, I'm living alone and I'm used to doing home-maintaining stuff and all the cleaning/washing. This also means that when something breaks, I'm the one who has to fix or replace it.
I'm a computer engineer, so I can totally help you with computer stuff, and I'm really curious about setting up solar panels and self-sufficient lifestyle, so I'd be really interested in helping you with those tasks.
I speak three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English, so maybe you are interested in knowing how to speak one of them, I could totally help you with that too.
And last but not least, I love mountaineering and climbing, so I can teach and show other people how to do it.

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
