About me

First and foremost I am a plant person. I love plant and studying them. How they grow and plant maintenance. I am a skilled labourer back in Vancouver, Canada. I work as a gardener and landscaper. I also love language, especially Spanish. I have worked on a ranch in Costa Rica where I learned some Spanish, as well as gardening, horticulture and permaculture. I love travelling and food and wine and meeting new people.

Preferred location

I want to go to central or South America, I have never been to South America so preferable any country there would be my first pick. I have always wanted to go to Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and Venezuela but any country is on my list.

Skills

I am going on a trip for a month and would like to find someone who can host me as a volunteer in their garden. I have a certificate in horticulture and I work here in Vancouver, Canada as a gardener and landscaper but would love to work with plants that grow in South and Central America. I am interested in learning about gardening in these countries and am always happy to help with other things as well. I have some Spanish skills and would definitely try to speak Spanish while I am here even though I am a little rusty.
