About me

I love to: laugh, cook, commune with plants and trees; animals, birds, and people. Listen to people play music, and sing... I have a 3 note range, so I don’t sing... but I like to chant, move to music and play my Tibetan bowls... sound and movement therapy! I believe that Forgiveness and Love balances everything the outer world throws at me, and brings about the feeling of Peace and I can live, and even flourish with that.

Preferred location

I studied anthropology & art for archeology, yogas and meditation for inner work, and ended up practicing shamanism and Zen Buddhism in the 1970’s. I studied allied health and got a dental hygiene degree in the late 70s. In the 80’s I/we traveled and worked on the east coast and west coast, took cooking classes and got married started a country store and cafe with my husband, raised a child. Sold the business; moved to the Caribbean started another Restaurant.... all the while organic gardening for use in the cafe and restaurant. I took Herbology classes with notable/professional Herbalists. In the 90’s I was a professional chef on high end sailing yachts in the Caribbean. Took courses in healing modalities (Reiki, Polarity, Reflexology, Healing Hands... ) Studied and got my Massage Threapist degree and continued studying: cranial sacral, structural integration, lymph drainage, intuitive healing , aromatherapy, essential oils, Ayurvedic cooking, healing herbs, flowers and mushrooms. In the new millinium I started a degree program in Transpersonal Psychology and into my 2nd year, was the caretaker and spiritual supporter for my father, mother and a younger sister and acted as their death Deula in 2003, 04, and 05. In 2005 I went on a self healing sojourn to Bali and then 6 months later to Costa Rica. In 2006 I took a Permaculture course and got my certificate from The Yestermorrow School in Vermont. I designed and was the contractor for a 44 acre Permaculture homestead in Vermont.... where I lived in an off the grid dome while it was being birthed. It’s beautiful and sustainable and productive at present time! in 2012 I semi-retired, sold my condo in Vt, and moved back to my home in the Caribbean.... ready to start my Permaculture farm. The two back to back hurricanes, Irma and Maria last Sept. and Oct. took out most of my fruit trees and salted my gardens.... they need time to heal and I’m wanting to be somewhere that I can be useful and in community with caring, interesting, health oriented, visionaries with some similar interests; who will share knowledge and ideas.
