About me

Hi, I call myself Nellie. My family runs a village type bed and breakfast resort called Kampung Karyawan Malim in a place called Gopeng in Perak and we are looking for travellers to help out around the place with general housekeeping and upkeep of the place. I work and stay with my family in Kuala Lumpur and only able to help out with the resort when I come back to Gopeng. You can look up Kampung Karyawan Malim on Google I can be looked up on Linkedin as Nurul Hidayah. Hobbies include travelling, events, karaoke and binge-watching on my favourite TV Shows!

Preferred location

I would love to volunteer in places in south of France where I could help out with charity work involving children or environmental work, and learn skiing and French at the same time. But currently, I am an experience host. My family runs a small bed and breakfast resort in a village setting, 20 minutes away from the nearest towns called Kampung Karyawan Malim (KKM). The resort full capacity is 80 paxx with chalet like accommodations, dorms and camping grounds. Normally, we have a small number of guests so we don't employ a lot of workers. Hence, we mostly need help with housekeeping and upkeep of the place. There are a lot of outdoor activities like caving and water rafting that could keep the travellers busy when there aren't much guests around. Also, if travellers are in luck, we also host events at the location and you get to take part and immerse yourselves in the events. A yearly event hosted at the location is called the International Festival of Poetry and Arts since 2010. We can provide accommodation to travellers and there is a kitchen where you could help yourselves with your meals. However, we do provide meals from time to time.
