About me

Hi there,
My name is Hagar, a single mother raising my son Rom 16 years old, we both from Israel. Most of our lives together we lived in a collective communities called kibbutz. Our last kibbutz was "Ayelet Hashahar" in the north part of Israel.
I call myself "nomads" cause all my life I moved a lot and never stayed very long in one place. Now we have decided to explore the world searching new places, cultures and other ways of living in simplicity and close to nature.
I worked in various jobs and up to recently I worked as a distribution manager in a private company,
before that I worked as an assistance to security officer.
We want to experience through volunteering:
Meeting and sharing moments with new friends, helping you , travel and find new places as long as we can, learn new skills such as permaculture, new languages, learning new cooking recipes as vegan and I`m sure there will be much more.
I would describe myself as open-minded, responsible, clean, tolerant and reliable person, good organizer and above all a good listener friendly and caring.
I have learned and practice alternative body & soul healing treatments such as Shiatsu and reiki, Tibetan Bowls
Spirituality is a big part of who I am.
I have also Learnt & worked as hotel receptionist when I was young .
In my Spare time I love to garden, listen to music, read books, be around nature and take care and feed street cats in my neighborhood.
My son Rom loves to read books and consequently has knowledge on various subjects, he is also a young counselor in the largest and most diverse youth movement is Israel.

I`m good in cooking & baking (as a Vegan I tried to make most of our food at home)

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am vegan and believe that being vegan helps our environment and spares a few lives. We will not volunteer in farms or places that grows & sells animals as food so, if you are such a host we are not the volunteers for you. I am also traveling & volunteering with my son. I want to show him with your help other way of living.
