About me

Hi, I'm Melanie. I live in Slovenia, but I work as an English teacher over the border in Italy. I also volunteer with various eco-minded organisations across the country. I am a part of Slovenia's permaculture society adn I'm currently doing my permaculture design course. I love being creative: designing gardens, houses, graphics and taking pictures. I would love to learn as many hand crafts as possible, so far I know the basics of crocheting and sewing.
I love walking in nature, foraging for herbs and picking seeds to be distributed elsewhere.
I love anything connected to sustainable living.

Skills

I am bilingual and very interested in languages. English is one of my mother tongues. I also teach it as a second language at a private language institute in north-eastern Italy, so I have experience teaching adults and children.
I am currently doing my Permaculture Design Course, so I'm very interested in anything to do with eco living and creating sustainable communities. Anything from gardening, caring for animals, to herb picking, cooking, and building eco homes. I like permaculture because its a good creative outlet for all of my interests and values.
I'm quite adept at using computers and interenet resources.

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
