My first language is Spanish and I speak English pretty fluently, since I use it a lot for work. I want to learn french but am a bit slow in that area, so any help will be appreciated.

About me

I spend half of my life offshore looking and listening to whales and dolphins. The other half I spend it at home or travelling, riding my bike, spending time at the beach, visiting friends and family and enjoying life. I'm the fourth of six brothers and sister, so I learnt to share since I was a kid, I love hosting people at home, fix them meals and showing them around. I like to travel on my own though, it's something I came to notice I enjoy, although I don't do it as much as I would like to. I like meeting new people, and learning from different cultures.

Preferred location

I'm planning a slow trip through Europe and I will be travelling on a budget. I will be looking for volunteering opportunities not only in exchange of accommodation and food, but also for the cultural exchange and the learning experiencie.
I selected some countries of interest but all invitations to volunteer from other countries are welcomed.

Skills

I am a Biologist. I did some teaching for a year. I've worked with NGOs, mainly on gender and lgbt issues, on community work, and designing new projects for the organization. Then I studied Environmental Management and as a thesis project I evaluated a city's urban parks with an environmental justice approach.
I have worked in the tourism services industry (sales, hosting, frontdesk, etc.). Years later I did some tourism research during three years (coordinating field work, preparing reports, etc.).
Currently I work as a Marine Mammal Observer and conducting Pasive Acoustic Monitoring, mostly in the Gulf of Mexico.
As you can see, my experience has been colorful, to put it bluntly, and I'm also willing to do hands-on work, I'm up to any challenge!

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I smoke once in a while, with a drink usually, but I rather not do it in a regular basis,
