Work to be done

Your accommodation

Life is an adventure. Have less stuff, do more.

Volunteer since

I am almost functional in Spanish, and have forgotten Turkish and Vietnamese. I'm fascinated by languages, I'm just not very good at them.

I was raised on a working farm and have cared for many farm animals (cows, sheep, horses, chickens, as well as dogs and cats) and done a lot of gardening (flowers and vegetables). I've helped out on an organic farm and their commercial kitchen. I've volunteered at a zoo in animal care (especially in the reptile house) and activities with the public. I have also volunteered at the Jimmy Carter National Library where I met visiting dignitaries and organized events. For three years I had a weekend business where I gave restaurant tours and organized cooking classes in Atlanta, GA. I'm honest. I've got a wide variety of skills and like helping out.
In addition, there are many things I'd love to learn, including (but not limited to) cheese-making, keeping bees, construction, sailing, recycling, herbs, greenhouses, coffee growing and roasting, olives, fruit trees, jewelry-making and soap-making.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

Though I'm not a vegetarian, I often eat a vegetarian diet.
