About me

Hi there! My name is Angel Kischka O. Baccay, from the Philippines. I am a self-aware and solution-oriented world-citizen who strives to empower others. I am Angel, and I am a Leader working towards a sustainable lifestyle and a better future.
In spite of the Philippines'—no scratch that, because of my country’s current situation, I was inspired and emboldened to be optimistic, strong-willed, and committed to realize my fullest potential, and in turn, make a significant change. I want to communicate my ideas, engage in meaningful conversation, and co-create a space of collaboration that empower people to take action. I want to have a more significant role in contributing towards making the world a more sustainable place for everyone.
I know that I am an exemplary candidate for this opportunity because I see my passion, hard work, determination, consistency, and resilience as my core strengths. I display courage, confidence, and a global perspective in my every endeavor. And, I have also factored in that I am going to be working with children, so I know that having a fun, nurturing, sportive, and patient personality is of paramount importance. My many years of volunteer and charity work, especially to the less fortunate, malnourished, and undereducated kids in rural areas, also equipped me with the right skills and attitudes in adapting and relating to different environments.
Passion is also my defining characteristic. In everything I do, every essay I write, every project I organize, I always keep that passion ablaze and give everything I’ve got. I let it burn bright and bold and brilliant, and I let the fire within me be the reminder that as long as my passion lives, my efforts will never be put to waste, my essays will be compelling, my projects will be successful, and my days will never be cold and dark. Because I have my passion to keep me warm in the light. And when you have passion, you will find and fulfill your purpose, and you empower others.
Lastly, I am not a quitter. If I do get accepted, I will give my everything to the project to promote a healthy work and play environment, and guarantee its success.
I am passionate to create and innovate, driven to share and realize ideas, efficient in my work ethic and team-playing skills, and committed to embody and reflect the entity's core values of striving to achieve peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential.

I also have elementary to intermediate knowledge of the Chinese Mandarin and can engage in conversation. I am computer-literate, especially with Microsoft Office, Apple’s iWork Suite, and the Internet.
I am organized and structured in my activities as well as excellent in time management. I enjoy and am good at planning projects and managing events. I also display logical and analytical skills in making informed and rational decisions. People describe me as a motivated, diligent, thorough, and scrupulous worker. I always make sure to embody the Magis principle, doing more and being more. Viewing things from different perspectives and being exposed to different experiences help me contribute innovative and out-of-the-box ideas.
I have superior leadership skills born out of my ability to follow, which gives me a very clear idea how to handle and deal with other people. I can think quickly on my feet and step up to the situation when the need arises. At the same time, I can be a strong team player because of my good social and interpersonal skills in terms of interacting and communicating with other people. I can also be efficient and productive in working independently.
I enjoy watching television shows and movies, reading books, newspapers, and magazines, surfing the Internet, and listening to music. Most of all, I spend my free time writing.
