About me

My name is Menal Ozdemir. I was born in central Anatolia, in a city called Sivas. I graduated from Ankara university. I have been working about Health Information Systems in Ministry of Health for 2 years. Despite my technical background, I've been always found of different cultures and languages. Ethnically I'm Circassian - it's an ancient nation which motherland is in south of Russia. To preserve my nationality, culture and ethnicity I've been attending our local community where I had the chance to meet little compatriots, 2-12 years old. I'm playing professionally a string instrument which belongs to my ethnicity, called "shikapshine", and when I realised that the youngest generation of our society started being curious about how I play, I decided to open classes for them and teach them this unique instrument. That was the time when I began my interaction with the young people. Apart from it, appreciated by my talents and skills with dealing with "little people", I was invited to continue the same music classes in a private kindergarten, where I'm still going for the weekend.

Skills

I've studied Geological Engineering so I like to nature and natural life.And I love to animals especially dogs! I am interested in to farm and gardening ☘️
