I learned Spanish in school and got a B in my final exams however i haven't spoken much Spanish since then so i am a bit rusty, however i always enjoyed the language and would to be happy to try and speak it again.

About me

Im an Irish student hoping to explore some of Europe with my girlfriend Elaina this summer, this would be my first time working abroad but i'm very excited and eager to help out and enjoy something a bit different. I enjoy socialising, swimming and surfing and I'm eager to help out somewhere coastal so i can enjoy surfing but strictly in my spare time of course.

Preferred location

I wish to volunteer somewhere coastal or near to the coast of Spain or Portugal for the summer months. My preference would be to work somewhere with decent surfing conditions as this is something i would like to focus on this summer.

Skills

I am in my second year of studying Business in college, i do however have lots of experience in gardening, i have worked in a garden centre before and constantly help out at home. I also have a considerable amount of experience with wood, gathering chopping and stacking i have been in charge of our winter wood storage at home for years now. I'm well capable of cooking meals for myself and others, i regularly cook for myself and for my friends in college, I also worked in a fast food restaurant but that is probably irrelevant. I love animals i have dogs at home that i look after walk and feed every day we also have a group of stray cats that came to our house and have since become pets. I have occasionally looked after injured birds found in my garden and once a very sick hedgehog. I'm fairly domesticated, always clean up after myself and don't mind cleaning up after others, i'm good with computers and i'm happy to help anyone who has difficulty. Finally i have a drivers license and would be willing to rent a car during my time volunteering if that would advantageous to any potential hosts! I have a powerboat handling license and i'm well qualified in health and safety i'm a qualified pool lifeguard

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
