About me

Being from rural Canada, I love the outdoors, not much can beat a quiet Forest or Lake. I am an avid cook, and have spent most of my working life as a butcher. Community is very important to me and building strong relationships has easily been my life's goal thus far.

Preferred location

I am currently on a three month adventure, beginning with a trek along the Portugese Camino from Porto, to Lisbon. From Lisbon we will be following the Mediterranean coast through Spain and Italy! Looking for a host from the 25th of February to March 10th

Skills

I have worked for many years under a fully licensed butcher and can competently do most retail cuts. This includes parting whole poultry, deboneing beef, pork and lamb, meat prep and cooking, as well as basic kitchen responsibilities. I also grew up in a small family business, running a paintball field, which included ample property maintenance, customer service, and supervising young children. Lots of experience on small building projects, from decks and sheds, to fences and landscaping. Have recently finished a bachelor's degree in political studies as well.
