My name is Magnus Kamau Lindhardt. I am 23 yrs old from April the 5.
For me life is all about trying new stuff and meeting new people (=travel). A few of my hobbies include: Kite surfing, capoeira, climbing/boulding, sailing, hiking, hunting and of course traveling. I am openminded and always interested in learning new stuff, and enjoy sharing knowlage and information. When working I thrive to combining practise and theory with fun.
I live in Denmark, where I currently study at University of Copenhagen. Here a pursue my passion for agriculture and Life Sciences and I really enjoy it. So I study Natural Ressources and Agronomy with specialization in Plant Science and I finish my Bachelors degree this summer (2017). My mother is Kenyan and father danish and I my self, born and raised in Denmark but I have always had a strong connection to Africa and my family and friends living there.
I created a profile on Hovos basically because I would like to travel the world and somehow put my skills into practise. It's not really important for me if the farm is organic, agroecological, conventional or something completely different as long as the owners/manegers are passionate about farming and willing to teach and maybe learn some new stuff. I dont mind in engaging in manual practical work or assist in other aspects on the farm or in the community.

Para mim a vida é tudo sobre tentando coisas novas e conhecer novas pessoas (= viagem). Eu vivo na Dinamarca, onde eu närvarande estudo para a Universidade de Copenhagen. Aqui a prosseguir a minha paixão pela agricultura e ciências da vida e eu realmente gosto dele. Então eu estudar Recursos Naturais e Agronomia, com Especialização em Plant Science e eu terminar a minha licenciatura neste verão (2017). Minha mãe é pai queniano e dinamarquesa e eu o meu eu, nascido e criado na Dinamarca, mas você sempre teve uma forte ligação com África e minha família e amigos que vivem lá.
Criei um perfil no Hovos basicamente porque gostaria de viajar pelo mundo e de alguma forma colocar minhas habilidades em prática. Não é realmente viktiga para o meu se a fazenda é orgânica, agroecológica, convencional ou algo completamente diferente, desde que os proprietários / manegers é apaixonado sobre agricultura e dispostos a ensinar e talvez aprender algumas coisas novas. Eu não me importo em se engajar no trabalho prático manual ou ajudar em outros aspectos na fazenda ou na comunidade.

I would really prefer to go to Brazil (especially to learn more about agro-ecology) but currently I am very open for different geographical places. What I look for is a place to put quality theoretical skills into practise.
Eu realmente preferiria ir para o Brasil (especialmente para aprender mais sobre agro-ecologia), mas atualmente estou muito aberto para diferentes lugares geográficos. O que eu procuro é um lugar para colocar habilidades teóricas de qualidade em prática.

I have skills in both practical and theoretical agriculture and nature management. I have worked on farms in Denmark. Farms that include Research Farms, Milk Production Farms. I have basic undestanding of soil science and cropping systems, nutrient optimizations, pesticides, remote sensing, organic food production, biological control, as well as post harvest management.
I have worked in a kindergarten and school before, so I know how to teach both in science subjects but also mathematics and language. I have good skills in carpeting and know how to handle tools, since I grew up with a carpenter dad I helped a lot in his company. I can drive traktors and agricultural machinery.
Eu tenho habilidades em agricultura prática e teórica e gestão da natureza. Tenho trabalhado em fazendas na Dinamarca. Fazendas que incluem Fazendas de Pesquisa, Fazendas de Produção de Leite.
