We need 2 volunteers
Looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated helpers now until January 2020. We offer a very unique experience as beekeepers and you'll be buzzing whilst staying with us.
With over 40 hectares of natural bush, classified as a Wildlife Reserve with National Parks and Wildlife, this property is truly spectacular and unique. We have resident kangaroos and possums and an abundance of birdlife and native flora. This is a nature-lovers paradise: so quiet and peaceful.
We are a middle-aged couple living an alternative lifestyle, love to play table tennis and laugh. We love our veggie garden and orchard. We have a very relaxed home with your own separate studio (100m from the main house on the edge of an escarpment). Bathroom and toilet are located at the main house, with your own private entrance.
We are very respectful & value your (& our) privacy and appreciate the same in return.
We share our home with 2 affectionate cats and 2 playful puppies so please don't apply if allergic.
Our piece of paradise is very isolated and located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, halfway between Sydney and Brisbane and only 2.5hrs from Byron Bay.
Coffs Harbour is 40 mins and Grafton is 30mins away, with Glenreagh being the closest town, 10 minutes down the Orara Way.
Looking for motivated and experienced couples or up to 2 individual helpers who are wanting to stay in our unique bush paradise in exchange for help with our beekeeping business (either onsite with the bees, bottling honey or helping in the office) and with other general household and garden tasks.
We ask that you work 4 hours a day, working days/times will vary depending on the project or tasks.
All meals and accommodation supplied. Reasonable mobile phone reception, limited wifi only at the main house, no TV.
Can pick up from Coffs Harbour or Grafton train or bus stations.
We would love to hear from you if you're looking for a chilled out stay helping with a very unique business.
