We need 5 volunteers
Help needed immediately - I need people to help with weeding, planting & light physical labour, immediately and throughout the winter. I also need creative people for furniture and decor. Please contact me if you are interested and available. There is plenty of time off and the beaches are close enough for frequent visits, but I need people who are prepared to work hard & contribute to the project in some positive way during their work hours. You need to have initiative, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a sense of humour! NO ARRIVALS BETWEEN FRIDAY AND SUNDAY PLEASE.
Work started in November 2017 and will continue for several months. We now have the building license and are about to start the main work. I will need help throughout the whole process. If you have your own tent, caravan or motorhome, you are welcome to park on the land. I do have spare tents, airbeds, sleeping bags and blankets for those prepared to commit to stay long term who do not have their own accommodation.
Volunteers are expected to contribute to the community spirit here - we are all living together and you are welcome to treat it as 'home', but we all look out for each other and the communal spaces are everyone's responsibility. I provide food for 3 meals a day, I do not provide additional snacks.
As I am at the beginning of the project, the living situation is very basic - we have a compost toilet & a bucket shower. There is solar electricity but no wifi - there are cafés nearby with access. Although this situation will develop, it might take a while.
Please do not apply if you do not have a permit to work in Europe - I cannot help with visas.

I have a vision – I love travelling but want to limit the impact it has on our environment. I need affordability but also sustainability. I love places with a sense of community. But as it can be hard to find, I am establishing a camp site that fits my ethos.
I’m a Londoner, passionate about the environment and travelling. I speak Spanish, am involved in the Green Party and I am an active environmentalist. I have run several successful environmental projects, including establishing and running a rocket composter on an inner city housing estate, delivering sustainable living workshops for school-kids and organising Green Fairs and festivals.
I have land in Spain with permission to build and I need help turning my vision into a reality – a campsite ready for business. I don’t want a glamorous “eco-retreat”. I want affordable camping for travellers. I would like facilities built with sustainable materials and powered by renewable energy, compost toilets, a vegetable garden, fixed bell tents for shared dormitories, pitches for those who have their own tents, campervans or caravans and a social space for cooking and relaxing.
If you have your own tent or campervan, there is plenty of space for you to pitch up. For people who will commit to a long term stay I have a few spare tents with beds and bedding
