We need 3 volunteers
Hi! We are Debbie and Daniel we moved from the UK to a beautiful part of Normandy about 2 hours from Paris in 2000. We have a vegetarian/vegan b&b with 3 guest rooms which is in the stunning Pays d'Auge area. We have 3 and a half acres of glorious gardens that we manage organically, we grow lots of vegetables and fruit for our guests and helpers. We have chickens, ducks and turkeys as pets, don't worry we only eat their eggs! The help we need varies depending on the time of year. Our b&b and restaurant are closed from mid-September to Easter so at this time of year the help is mostly projects in our extensive gardens and in our various buildings there are always general repairs decorating and furniture renovations. If you have any skills in these areas that would be great! You can help feed and look after the animals too. You will learn lots of new skills! I can also use your help with my paperwork, especially if you speak French. We can also help you with your English if you need it! We have been welcoming helpers for many years, we really enjoy having helpers and bringing people together, they remain friends & often return year after year. If you are a hard worker and enjoy meeting new friends from different countries, sharing stories and having fun come and join us! Contact us and we can send you lots more details!

In return for your welcome help we reward you with comfortable accommodation in a house next door to the hotel just for helpers and also on the top floor of the hotel. The house has a lounge with tv/dvd/computer, a dining room and a kitchen. Vegetarian/vegan food, plentiful ingredients supplied and organic vegetables from the garden where possible, you won't be hungry!
There is a kitchen in the communal house where there are cupboards and fridge full of food. There is a cooking rota where you each take a turn cooking a meal for everyone to eat together early evening. All communal meals are vegan, the food is always great! We have lots of cookery books and recipes left by previous helpers and I am here for advice! You can eat dairy at other meals if you want to. You won't go hungry.
