About the workproject

We need 2 volunteers

Welcome to our beautiful busy farm profile. We are a 6th generation family run mixed grazing and agroforestry farm on the New England Tablelands of NSW, Australia. We are known for our innovative approach to tree establishment and preservation and more recently have been recognised as a regenerative farm in our efforts to improve upon the landscape and biodiversity. We're also a very active family with plenty going on whether it's trips away, visitors, family gatherings, outdoor adventures and sport, creative workshops or community events.

We have been hosting travelers since 2006 but continue to enjoy the shared experience and have a wide network of friends and family of travelers that have stayed here for short and long periods. These days our preference is initially stays of between 2 and 4 weeks and travelers over 25years age will get preference.

Activities on the farm are pretty wide and varied and a proactive independent nature will be of most benefit to you and ourselves. There is plenty to learn and experience and your hosts are more than happy share their knowledge and experience and vice versa.

Milly and I have been married over 20 years and have three kids. We live on a farm that has been in the family 6 generations. Many family members are still living nearby and we catch up regularly. We are an active family and enjoy outdoor adventure sports, camping, hiking and horse riding. Whitewater kayaking, rock climbing and photography are some of my passions that I share with the family. Living and working on this farm is also an inspiration and I enjoy the challenges that change often. Eventually I hope to leave the flora, fauna and landscape in a much better state than I inherited it. We are constantly looking for innovative and more balanced ways to manage the business that meet our production, ecological and social goals.
