We need 8 volunteers
Here at the Cowboy Bunkhouse, we do everything with authentic western style, and that means greeting all those tired, trail-hiking travelers with good, old-fashioned cowboy courtesy and hospitality. And to do that, we need fantastic, fun-loving volunteers like you to make folks feel welcome in the hostel, tend to our rooms and common areas, create lively activities for guests, and rustle up some grub for all the hard-working "cowhands" at the end of the day.
Do ya like planting vegetables and building things? Those jobs are up for grabs, too! There's always something new to do around these here parts, and our little town of Kanab is right smack in the middle of some of the most beautiful countryside you'll ever set eyes on. When the work week is done, go explore the depths of the Grand Canyon, the majestic heights of Zion and Bryce, the surreal curves of the world-famous Wave, and the mysterious twists and turns of picturesque slot canyons like Antelope Canyon and Buckskin Gulch.
If you've a mind to stick closer to your home-away-from-home on your off days, you can always stroll around Kanab itself and take a gander at over eighty years of American movie history. Ever heard tell of legendary films like The Outlaw Josey Wales, or classic TV shows like Gunsmoke, Lassie, and the Lone Ranger? How 'bout something a bit more mainstream... Say, for example, Point Break, Broken Arrow, or Planet of the Apes? Yep, they were all filmed right nearby. Our Kanab is the Hollywood of the West: the best place to film all those cowboy shoot-em-ups to hit the big screen.
So as you can see, we've got a little bit of everything here. We work hard and play hard here at The Cowboy Bunkhouse, and at the end of the day, we're all part of a wonderful, quirky, patchwork family. All that's missing is you, partner! So what're you waiting for? Give us a holler!

We set out a hearty continental breakfast for guests and staff every morning, and you're welcome to help yourself to bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, and fresh juice and coffee. You're on your own for lunch, but there are usually plenty of leftovers from the fun family-style, sit-down dinners that are always the centerpiece of the evening for our hostel staff.
