Thousands of years ago, the Rishis (sages) confined themselves in caves in the sacred Himalayan mountains to explore and prepare their body and mind. Their aim was to understand the workings of nature and the cosmos, to ultimately achieve liberation. The subtleties of the old teachings reveal themselves to the practitioner through careful guidance and constant personal growth. We are the heirs of these sacred yogic teachings and we wish to bear it to the modern world. Yogasamskriti School and Research Center is a genuine endeavor to deliver this wisdom of ancient yogic traditions. Yoga, awareness and balance, when joined with Samskriti, culture, creates Yogasanskriti, a wholistic, righteous way of living: the yogic culture. We provide our students with teachings of classical Hatha Yoga (physical health) and Meditation (mental health) in collaboration with dedicated Yoga teachers, researchers and therapists from all over the world.
During deep meditation, the Sages received divine knowledge that they carefully stored in scriptures called the Vedas, the most ancient scriptures in human history (~27 000 yrs old). There, they recorded knowledge about Sanskrit (the mother of all languages), Mantras, Mudras, Pranayama, Asanas and Meditation techniques. They also shared their knowledge of Cosmical structure, astrology, the nature of the human body and mind and karmic rules. Up until recently, these scriptures were kept secret, revealed only to a select group of the most dedicated students. The Yogic Masters would take in disciples and teach them their entire life, with the aim of having them protect and pass on this knowledge intact. To qualify as a student, they had to exhibit an earnest yearning for deep understanding and the will to dedicate their life to the practice. Our team of teachers have led successful careers in their respective fields of creative design, human biology, Eastern Philosophy, etc. Now they have dedicated their lives to bring about awareness of the yogic lifestyle to create a more peaceful and fulfilled society worldwide.

Rahul Ji is a passionately committed teacher of Yoga, having diligently internalised all aspects of yogic knowledge. After growing up in a small village on the outskirts of Delhi in an encouraging yogic family, he pursued a career as a concept designer in Delhi. Outside of work he continued his spiritual growth through his own studies of ancient texts and scriptures. Soon, a series of experiences illuminated to him transcendental truths that inspired him to leave his job and immerse himself in the sacred yogic world.
He studied at the Ashram of Swami Rama, strengthening his spiritual practice while comprehensively learning Yoga and meditation according to the Himalayan Tradition under the guidance of the renowned master Swami Veda Bharati. He went on to study in a Gurukulam (traditional spiritual school) where he became part of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition of teachers. He has shared his knowledge of Yoga and meditation in ashrams, yoga schools, and international yoga festivals around the world, integrating techniques from many Yoga paths including Hatha Yoga, Dhyana Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga. His work integrates body, mind, and spirit into a holistic practice that helps his students explore the depths of their inner selves, thereby living a healthy and fulfilling life.
