About the workproject

We need 5 volunteers

Mindo, is one of the most biodiverse areas of the world, specially of birds, butterflys, frogs and orchids. Our place has 15 hectares of native forest and 5 hectares of organic-biodinamic crops. Here we produce maize, cassava, banana, pitahaya, macadamia, orange, papaya, and many other subtropical fruits.
Respecting the life processes and the interior needs of the person, our farm generates spaces of silence for a re-encounter with oneself, in an environment of harmony with nature.

I am Micaela, a biologist and mother of two small children, Ximena, my mother, is the person that currently is more involved in the farm, she is a homeopathic veterinarian. I have one sister Daniela who is music and anthropologist. We all three like nature and believe that the current situation of the world impels us to do everything possible to preserve nature to contribute in a small scale to do something about the world and mitigate the climate change that is already taking place. We also believe that it is important to be able to combine what is forest conservation with agroecology and and that is what we do in our place.
