AyurYoga Eco Ashram and its organic farm is spread over 18 acres of land in a peaceful countryside, on the banks of the Kabini river. It is located between Mysore (Karnataka) and Kerala, South India. Rated among the best Yoga Ashrams in India, we offer Yoga Courses, Spiritual & Ayurveda Retreats conducted by traditional teachers of Hatha Yoga, Pranayamas, Meditation, Philosophy, Ayurveda, Ecology, etc. We regularly offer four-week Yoga Teacher Training in India accredited by Yoga Alliance, two-week Yoga Immersion Retreats for beginners as well as two-week Yoga Intensive Retreats for intermediate / advanced students.
The yoga ashram in India is a platform where spiritual teachers, with backgrounds in traditional monasteries and ashrams, connect with international students who are ready to explore yoga beyond the mat. Besides physical practices, we share our philosophy of leading ‘a dynamic life with a peaceful heart and the wisdom to love and smile!’ We are also passionate about spiritual and cultural exchange between East and West through Art & Culture.
We do not impose any fixed manuals, guidelines, books, traditions, rules, etc. We do not promise Nirvana (enlightenment) or deep spiritual experiences nor do we bang you with some abstract spiritual philosophies. What we teach is simple yoga and meditation practices that can be of practical use in your daily life, to harmonize all facets of life, including diet, sleep, sex, relationships and work attitudes.
Krishna Chaitanya is a simple Yoga Teacher who thinks of himself as an eternal student in awe of the ocean of yoga wisdom. His special expertise is in the field of traditional Hatha yoga, meditation, philosophy and psychology of Yoga-Vedanta. He lived and practiced for more than twelve years in some of the best ashrams in India – such as Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Order (Calcutta), Bihar School of Yoga (Munger), Himalayan Tradition of Swami Rama (Rishikesh) and Sivananda Ashram (Kerala). Embracing the monastic life at the age of 18, Krishna is a born social rebel and revolutionary thinker who doesn’t want to be brainwashed by books, teachers, or spiritual traditions – so naturally the result is, a roller coaster life in search of Unknown – which took him to various teachers and traditions in many parts of the world. After being a spiritual vagabond for years, he is now a living encyclopedia on Indian spirituality. He is still a soul-warrior on a pathless path, experimenting with life and searching for Peace within.

Minimum 10 Days Stay
If you cannot spare 2 weeks, it is possible to come for 10 days. It is ideally recommended to start on the first day with other students, then depart after 10 days. It might be possible to join in a few days later, if we have enough accommodation. The cost for 10 days will be the same as the full 2 week retreat.
For Twin-Share Accommodation:
Female students can book the twin-share accommodation online and we will find another female student to share the room.
For male students, please book twin-share room online only if you have a partner to share the room. If not, please email to email@example.com to place you on the wait-list. Whenever we hear from another male student wanting to share a room, we will email you back with a link to register.
