About the workproject

We need 2 volunteers

We are an organic banana farm on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and have horses and donkeys. We need help in the banana harvests, horse and donkey caring, and other smaller farm tasks. If interested, you can also join us in our work with youth at risk on the island. We are a drug and alcohol-free farm and can host you and feed you, vegan (the rasta way), vegetarian and pescetarian.

From a diplomat career to becoming a farmer in the Caribbean. Elisabeth Karamat, a former Austrian diplomat, lives in St Kitts and works with youth in agriculture since 9 years, together with her life companion, Kwondo, a rasta farmer, healer and bee specialist. The couple promotes organic farming protected from the green vervet monkeys that trouble the harvests on the beautiful Caribbean island, includes youth at risk in agriculture.

Two bedroom apartment with bathroom and small kitchen in the farm owner's family home in the village. Basic but clean and safe. Windows have mosquito screens.
