About the workproject

We need 2 volunteers

We are the owners of Wild Taz Products. www.wildtazproducts.com.au

We harvest Mountain pepper and various native plants for use in our products.
Some areas we harvest from may be in the depths of the Tasmanian wilderness and we may be out harvesting for a couple days. If this is the case then we can sort you out with a tent and all equipment necessary. But a love of the outdoors is essential! Its a great lifestyle and a lot of fun and you will get to see some spectacular scenery that most people will not get the opportunity to see.

Meals are provided and back at base you will have your own little outhouse to stay in, just newly built!
In addition, helpers are offered cash incentives for good harvests.
We are also able to sign your regional work form to count towards your 2nd year visa.

When we are not harvesting there are a lot of house and garden renovating that we need help with - Construction experience would come in handy.

Also, if you are good with website design that is a plus!

As the outhouse sleeps two in a double bed we will only be taking a single person or a couple.

I can apply to volunteer alone, although ideally we would find a host that can take both me and my partner, Paul.

We are taking a break from work to volunteer and travel in South America to improve my Spanish and develop our skills.
We love nature and wildlife and keen to help out in any conservation projects.
We have a 10 acre block of land in Tasmania and have plans to build a sustainable lifestyle there. So we are particularly interested in helping out hosts that need help with building a sustainable dwelling, permaculture, renewable resources and conservation projects.
