We need 2 volunteers
Hi, We're a young couple and run a small B&B in the Dordogne region of France situated about 15 minutes from Sarlat-la-Caneda.
When we started the B&B we were just a couple but we now have a baby who was born in March.
We are looking for people to help us quickly make some alterations to our home and a hand with tidying up the garden (November - March), or help in the Bed & Breakfast (June - October), since my wife is always busy catering to our son.
B&B work: Serving breakfast, Housekeeping - Changeover, Washing up, Dinner Service, Hosting/Chat with guests, Watering the garden/ pots.
We only have 3 family rooms being rented out so it will not be too much work and dinner is only done 2x a week.
Home Improvement: Plastering, Painting, Wallpapering, Tiling..etc.
We also have some really messy grounds to clean up, so would also like to find a couple who know how to use a chainsaw, and make a good bonfire. I also have a stone wall which needs to be rebuilt with new pillars and gates fitted, so someone with stone work history would be great.

We'd provide breakfast and then if you feel you have a handle on the work, we would leave you to your work, which would be approx 4/5 hrs per day depending on occupancy in the B&B and then if you have transport the late afternoon/evening would be yours before returning for dinner. We also have bikes you are free to use to discover the area if you do not have your own transport.
If you have your own transport that would be ideal. The area is rich with museum, chateau, gardens, adventure parks, canoeing, caves, prehistoric sites and anything else you can think of, but a car would be the best way to get about. The bus service runs through the village to Sarlat, although hours are limited outside the peak summer months.

We live in a 19th century chateau with 3 large family suites.
We will provide meals, but you are welcome to to eat as you like.
