We need 11 volunteers
TLC was established by the Jarvis family to meet the serious need for quality childcare for abandoned children in South Africa. Purpose-driven humour and faith has brought the home to where it is today.
You can apply to volunteer at TLC Children's Home (for 3 months or more) in a few easy steps,
1. Visit (http://www.tlc.org.za/full_time_volunteering.html?tab=1) to download an application form, fill it in and send to TLC.
2. Your application must be accompanied by a 500 ZAR (35,41$) non- refundable application fee.
3. E-mail a video clip of yourself interacting with a child or children younger than 3 years. You may also be required to participate in a Skype interview.
4. If you are accepted onto the programme you will be required to pay a 2000 ZAR(141,64$) training fee on arrival.

The love of Christ Ministries was established in 1993 by the Jarvis family. They have rescued more 800 babies who have abandoned or orphaned, as our nation continues to be plagued by HIV-AIDS, unemployment and high crime level. The primary ethos at TLC is that 'every child the right to a loving and responsible family' and they fight for the rights of every baby, seeking the for each individual
The volunteer compound at TLC has 3 cottages with 4 bedrooms in each cottage. Each room can accommodate 2 single beds where volunteers can share. The cottage also has a lounge, kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
Food is provided. Breakfast is self catering, there is usually bread and cereals available, at 11h00 we serve snacks, 13h00 is Lunchtime (usually Salads and Bread / Potato / Soup, 17h00 is supper and this is usually a cooked meal. All meals are served on a buffet and are shared with everyone.
