About the workproject

We need 2 volunteers

We are part of a community hiking club in Shenzhen, China, a city just accross the border to Hongkong (there is a very convenient connection from SZ to HK by subway). It's a warm city in subtropical zone, an evergreen city. Shenzhen was also called " silicon valley of China" due to the numerous high-tech start-ups based here.

Our club mission is to provide and organize hiking activity for the club's kids, in order to improve their physical performance and stamina .

My wife and I are about 40 years old and we have an 8 years old son. Cathy was a supply Chain director for a fortune 500 company of USA. Myself, Jack, run a small trading company . I started this hiking club in 2014 after Cathy had serious health problem ; that made us realize how important being healthy is! There is a lot of potential hikes in our city, and we are hoping to get more kids to have this good habit. We bring 6 to-20 kids from our community for an hike during weekends. To have even bigger benefits for the kids on this activity, we need a volunteer to speak good English with kids and teach them about anything they see or meet in hiking, or play some game during the breaks. We want the kids to practice their English and to learn about cultures outside of China
