About the workproject

We need 5 volunteers

We are a small honey producing operation looking for help with all aspects of beekeeping.Experience is preferred. IE you must know a little (or a lot) about beekeeping. physically fit and able to lift boxes of honey.Your responsibilities:

Coordinate Beekeeping, repairs and maintenance, ordering of materials,maintaine equipment, handling and breeding of bees,honey extraction/processing and do all bee related Business.
Manage inventory of supplies,Stockand equipment.
Handle ad hoc queries concerning Bee management, hardware and supplies
Organize and update IT system

What we look for: Qualifications and Skills
----------------- 
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience beekeeping /Livestock/Agriculture
Self-independent and have a well-structured way of working
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills in Beekeeping
Very open and outgoing personality with positive attitude
Valid Driving Licence
Interest in improving existing processes
Capable of handling a bee stings
Hardworking full time beekeeper. Duties will include but are not limited to: caring for and managing beehives, building equipment, extracting honey, bottling honey and physically able to lift bee boxes .Raises honey bees to produce honey, wax propolis and maintain colony health through the year.

Full time postion Beekeeping in Ireland
Salary ,with vehicle and phone.Accomadation available
Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with additional shifts during peak seasonal times. Occasional weekends may be required several times per year when bees are active.
